Hey Jon welcome to TPN. I am one of the hosts from The Global Geek Podcast.

I loved the first episode and look forward to more. I would be interested to know how we can apply "life branding" with podcasting or blogging and the competitive world of online marketing. How do we make ourselves stand out from the crowded space that is the web? That was a hard one, but it is something that matters to us and anyone trying to build an online personality or presence. Especially when sometimes all your audience has to go on is your voice or words on a web page or podcast.

Cheers and again I hope that you enjoy being a part of this great community.

Hi Dave,

Thank you for your kind feedback. I apologise for the delay in responding.

Like all businesses, community groups, churches and people etc. we are all operating in a highly competitive marketplace that is full of "noise".

The trick is how to differentiate yourself from this noisy space. It is no different to a product on a supermarket shelf which is positioned to
maximise its full potential by attracting customers to buy it before they buy their competitors product.

One of the most important aspects that must be considered firstly is where are your listeners coming from? How are they hearing
about you? You may also consider other avenues in expanding your networking in a manner that will leverage your personal brand at this
moment in time as many conventional methods will still work effectively in getting people to find out about you ie. website marketing,
seminar presentations, authorship of books & recordings. gorilla marketing etc.

It is the methods we have used world-wide with our clients for the last 18 years and they work brilliantly. Many executives, elite sports-stars, media personalities,
celebrities, politicians, church leaders etc know this successful formula because they have used our advice and created unique profiles. The online
media world is not that different. It's just another channel and people by human nature are still similar in their behaviours and expectations and this includes
XY Generation, it is just that they are using technology..

Therefore I recommend you start experimenting with some of our suggestions and my promise to you is that you will notice the difference and in many cases possibly a complete transformation depending how far you are willing to play this extra-ordinary game called business and "life".

Keep in touch and let me know your thoughts.

Wishing you abundance always.

Cheers,
Jon
